Susan started working in the family business when she was 12 years old but left at 18 and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Human Resources, She was fortunate to work for some great companies in her field while living in Atlanta and then New York City.
Although enjoying a successful career, when she heard that Charlie might sell the store she knew the family business was calling! Susan returned to her Gloucester roots to run the grill store, and purchased back previously leased Foster’s businesses so that the properties on Eastern Avenue are now run entirely by members of the Foster family.
Susan serves as President and Owner of Foster from Gloucester Inc. In Charlie’s footsteps, she is currently busy training the fourth generation of Fosters, Katy and Will Aaron.
Foster's welcomed (Sue’s husband) Billy Aaron to our store in 2006 as our lead salesperson. Billy is very passionate about grilling and on any given day you will probably find him cooking here on The Big Green Egg. A growing focus on the grill store will have Billy coming much further into focus as the face of Foster's Grill Store in live appearances on and offsite.
Boots Parsons has been part of the Foster’s of Gloucester family since 1996. Boots’ claim to fame is his uncanny ability to locate ANYTHING. Whether it’s a piece needed to repair a grill or a specialty item for a customer, if it exists, Boots will find it.
